Nelson Bros. Sewer & Plumbing

Had a technician come out and give us a quote of 1-2 hours, said it would be a very quick and easy job. The job ended up taking 5 hours and they never applied the cost of the initial quote to the completed job, which they said they would do when they gave us the quote. We were also charged 3 times for a "minimum plumbing rate" on top of the "hourly plumbing rate". We reached out to Rick to try to get clarity and come to a resolution but after playing phone tag for over 2 months felt we were left no option but to leave a review in the hopes that that this hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else. The only positive of this experience was that the plumber did an excellent job.

Mitch was really great as was his assistant Brendan. The existing sewer tried to be hard to replace but both of them rose to the task and prevailed mightily. They needed to find a clean, strong, piece of pipe to latch the new system onto and ended digging right to the footing of the house to find it. Under very tight quarters, they were able to cut the pipe straight and are set up for another good day tomorrow in order to have my sewer system operational again. A plan is in place and I see them executing it flawlessly. Day 2 arrived, the old pipe was removed as was additional dirt from the trench. They tied onto the piece of solid pipe and reconstructed my sewer system. It's beautiful. We can run water from any of the toilets and sinks, and we can do laundry again. I don't remember the last time a hot shower felt so good!

Nelson Brothers is my go-to plumber for everything water related. Been using them for a year or so and they have addressed everything I’ve asked them to look at. I have a well and had low pressure after a previous plumber used 3/4” pex and lots of 90 and straight connectors that were killing pressure and volume. I’ve had them replumb my supply side from my well, thru my water filter setup and water heater with 1” copper and water pressure is now much better. They have been back to remove and reinstall my kitchen plumbing when I replaced my countertops, and many minor repairs. They always fix what I need plus they offer suggest things to improve the systems. Johnathan and Andrew have been out and they have been great. Rick is the master plumber / head guy and he always is available to talk thru issues too. They all do an awesome job and you can’t go wrong using them for your plumbing needs.

Nelson Brothers is an amazing company that actually cares about their customers. I only write reviews that are well deserved. Brandon from Nelson Brothers did an outstanding job on my sump pump issue and I’ll use them again for sure. Thank you! Please keep up the great work.

Creith and Trevor did a great job replacing and moving shutoff valves in my condo to support a kitchen remodel. There were issues with building folks getting the hot water turned off to my unit. They completed the portion of the work that they could while waiting for the turn off issue to be resolved. They also recognized an additional need for a dishwasher shutoff and were able to install that at the same time. I appreciated their professionalism and politeness. Thank you!

Everything was fantastic from making the appointment, staying informed with appointment updates and reminders to completing the work. Johnathan, the plumber, showed up on time as scheduled, efficiently completed the work and was professional throughout the whole time here. The price was reasonable and I will definitely use Nelson Brothers for any future work as well as recommend them to others.

We use Nelson Brothers for all our plumbing needs from main line clean-out to fixture repair/replacement. Recently we had some plumbing redone to accommodate a larger washer. Brandon did a great job and was very friendly and respectful. Definitely recommend.
